It plays an important role in connecting the distribution cable or optical cable to the user line part and branching the main line. The junction box can be installed in confined spaces such as bridges, boxes, pipes, cable trenches, etc., without occupying the effective use area of the building, it is easy to install and the main cable does not need to be cut.

Junction box electrical performance
(1) Insulation resistance
①Under the standard atmospheric conditions of the test, the insulation resistance between any two ends and between any terminal and the metal box should not be less than 5×104MΩ.
②After the conditional test, the insulation resistance between any two ends and between any terminal and the metal box should not be less than 5×103MΩ.
(2) Contact resistance of junction box
①Under the standard atmospheric conditions of the test, the contact resistance between the wire and the terminal should not be greater than 5×10-3Ω.
②After the conditional test, the increase of contact resistance between the wire and the terminal should not be greater than 3×10-3Ω.
(3) Dielectric strength
①Under the standard atmospheric conditions of the test, when an AC RMS value of 500V is applied between any two terminals or between any terminal and the metal enclosure, no breakdown or arcing should occur within 1 minute.
② After the condition test, if the AC RMS value is 500V between any two terminals and between any terminal and the metal box, there should be no breakdown or arcing within 30s.
