Solve the problem of cable penetration and sealing

With the modularization of European automation equipment, there are more and more convenient ways for connecting and introducing cables between equipment and control cabinets, such as KBL wall bushing system. Here we take the selection of wall panels with 9 wires with a diameter of 8 mm from the control cabinet as an example of empirical explanation.

1. Select the KBL 24/10 wall panel module according to the number of outgoing cables in the cable cabinet. This frame can accommodate 10 cables with an outer diameter of 2-17mm.

2. Cut out the required opening size on the control cabinet for the selected wall panel frame.

3. Select 9 KT9 modules corresponding to 9 cables with an outer diameter of 8mm, and the module can pass cables with an outer diameter of 9-10mm. Since the frame has 10 holes, but there are only 10 cables, you need to choose a sealing module for the other hole.

4. Since the frame has 10 holes, but there are only 10 wires, the other hole must choose the sealing module BTK.

5. Insert the wires into the module, then install the sleeve and the frame, and attach the frame to the open position of the cabinet and lock it.

Cable entry systems, also known as Cable Entry Frame, allow cables to pass through cabinet enclosures or bulkhead panels for quick installation without having to disassemble the original connectors or pre-terminated cables. The wall panel can operate for long periods of time in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to +140°C. The split frame and modular design is quick and easy to install and complies with the EN 50262 standard for voltage relief. More cables can be routed and managed in a smaller space.
